About Ninelings
Ninelings is a small site about the Enneagram: one free test and nine type profiles. No account, no upsell, nothing to install.
What the Enneagram is
The Enneagram is a model of personality that describes nine types. Each type is built around a core desire and a core fear, and the nine fall into three triads: gut types (8, 9, 1) who lead with instinct, heart types (2, 3, 4) who lead with feeling and connection, and head types (5, 6, 7) who lead with thinking and planning.
Knowing your type does not put you in a box. It gives you a language for patterns you already have, and each type carries its own ideas for growth: what stress tends to do to it, and what moving toward health usually looks like.
How our test works
The Ninelings test asks 54 plain statements, six for each type, and you answer each on a seven-point agreement scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree. The scoring runs entirely on your device: your answers are never uploaded and are stored only in your own browser so you can close the tab and pick up later.
When you finish, you see your most likely type along with the runner-ups worth reading. The type pages explain each of the nine in everyday words: what drives them, what they fear, how stress shows up, and what growing looks like.
What we don't claim
The Enneagram is a popular personality framework, not a scientifically validated diagnostic. Treat your result as a starting point for reflection.
A self-reflection tool, not a psychological diagnosis. It is a lens for self-reflection, not a clinical instrument. Two thoughtful people can land on different types, and that is fine: read the runner-ups too. If you are struggling with something serious, please talk to a professional; no quiz is a substitute for that.
How our content is made
Ninelings is run by one publisher, named in the legal notice. There is no editorial team and there are no named authors. The publisher is responsible for everything on this site.
Articles and type profiles are written with AI language models, working from keyword research and cited sources. The test follows a fixed scoring model; see how the test works.
Automated checks run before every release. They hold each article to its keyword plan, reject invented numbers, studies and quotes in the compatibility articles, and fail the build on broken structure or links. For those articles, a separate AI review pass also compares every statement about the types with our type profiles. None of this is expert review, and we do not claim any.
Other languages are AI translations of the English original. Scripts check that each translation keeps the English version's structure, citations and reference links, and that its internal links stay in its own language.
If you find an error, tell us through the legal notice and we will correct it. A self-reflection tool, not a psychological diagnosis. That limit applies to every text here, however it was made.
